The DeRosa Chiropractic Center opened in the summer of 1986.  Dr. Michael DeRosa attended Lawrence HS and SUNY Albany before graduating from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, GA.  Having his office in the same building he was raised in, allows Dr. DeRosa to stay close to his roots and the people he grew up with.  The emphasis on chiropractic care is to utilize the body's innate recuperative powers before relying on sometimes unnecessary drugs or surgery.  Being able to successfully treat thousands of patients over the past 25 years has been a very rewarding experience for him.  Dr. DeRosa utilizes a combination of hands-on and computerized adjustments along with a variety of soft tissue techniques.   He is also a Certified Health Fitness Specialist with the American College of Sports Medicine and was the 2010 recipient of the Inwood Civic Association "Citizen of the Year" award for his volunteer work in our community.
